Darling Brew and a Darling Cellars are teaming up once again to bring you the fourth annual Vine-to-Hop Trail Run, a celebration of adventure, community, and the natural beauty of Darling.

This year’s routes have been expertly crafted by our talented trail creators, offering runners and walkers the rare opportunity to explore hidden corners of our charming town. All routes start and finish at Darling Brew, making it the perfect place to warm up, cool down, and enjoy the vibe afterward.

Every participant will receive a goodie bag at registration, and all finishers can look forward to a refreshing finisher’s drink — the perfect reward after a morning on the trails.

Whether you’re chasing a PB or simply soaking in the scenery, Vine-to-Hop is all about enjoying the journey. Lace up, breathe in the fresh countryside air, and we’ll meet you at the finish line with a beer in hand.

Race Categories, Start Times & Entry Fees

• 21 km – 07:00 | R400
• 12 km – 07:15 | R300
• 5 km – 07:30 | R200

Important Dos & Don’ts

• Hydration: Bring water/emergency snacks, especially for 21 km. Water points available along the route.
• Gear: Hat/buff, sunscreen (SPF 50), and comfortable running clothes recommended.
• Emergency Info: Emergency number printed on your bib.
• Marshals: Guiding runners along the route.
• Respect the Environment: Do not litter – these are private farms.
• Respect Others: Be courteous to fellow runners, farmers, and farm workers.
• No Refunds: Entries are non-refundable after 4 March 2026.

Important Route Information

• Markers: Black boards with directional arrows.
• Split Points: Follow colour-coded arrows matching your bib. Marshals will assist.
• Wildflower Areas: Some sections won’t be bush-cut due to protection restrictions.
• Animals on Route: Certain areas have animals — stay alert. The farm is not liable for injuries.

• Race Pack: All runners receive a race pack at the start.
