From celebrating Valentines with a loved one, adventuring with a friend, or bonding with a sibling that’s joined to your hip, here’s 🔟 activities, in each region, to do in pairs:

❤️ Cape Town

1️⃣ Ride in style with Cape Sidecars on Chapman’s Peak
Sit along side Brody, the SideCar mascot and everyone's best friend! As you coast along Chapmans, take in the mind-blowing views. 

2️⃣ Sea Kayaking with Atlantic Outlook along Mouille Point
Many paddle sessions have come across dolphins and even whales; it's an incredible experience to share with a loved one.

3️⃣ Tandem Cycling with Atlantic Outlook on the Promenade
Glide along the Atlantic Seaboard and keep moving together. This is a fun way to (learn to) work together too. 

4️⃣ Take flight and paraglide from Signal Hill
Although you'll fly separately, you and your partner will share the most amazing views of the Atlantic.
TIP: For those that prefer to keep their feet on the ground, try a picnic on Signal Hill at sunset. 

5️⃣ Mould Chocolate Teddies with Lindt in the Silo District  
A sweet gesture to get crafty with chocolate. There are more classic workshops available at the Studio, next to a store filled with Lindt! 

6️⃣ Hover with NAC Helicopters from the 12 Apostles
This is an awesome activity to see our beautiful city from a new perspective. Be sure to ask abut packages and routes available. 

7️⃣ Play games at Big Box Cafe on Roeland Street
Dine at this cafe and try any of the shelves and stacks of board games available. It's a great spot for the competitive lot! 

8️⃣ Get competitive and play PuttPutt on the Promenade
This is a classic bonding activity, and is coupled with great views of the ocean and Signal Hill. Enjoy an ice cream after your game!  

9️⃣ Enjoy a pair of 8 wheels at Rollercade at the V&A
Feel like a kid and play some games at the arcade! And skate with adults only in the evening sessions. 

🔟 Pick roses at the Chart Farm in Constantia
Explore the facilities: try horse-riding through the vineyards, and taste the tea and cake at the cafe too!  

❤️ Garden Route & Klein Karoo

1️⃣ Kayak with Dune Adventures through the Knysna Estuary
A great way to explore the nature; you may even see fish-eagles and baboons. In the spring, you are able to paddle through hundreds of blossoming lilies
TIP: wear shoes that can get wet, and pack water and snacks!

2️⃣ Tandem Paraglide with FlyTime over Sedgefield
The Garden Route has exceptional flying sites with views over Wilderness, Sedgefield and the coastline. The team includes female pilots and SA world championship representatives!

3️⃣ Relax at the Turbine Hotel Spa in Knysna
Relish in the pampering on this Thesen Isle oasis. Make sure to visit the retro hotel cafe, The Old Turbine, it is a great place to sit on the water's edge with a cup of coffee.

4️⃣ Hike to the Rust-en-Vrede Waterfall in Oudtshoorn
Walk along the mountain trail stream until you discover the waterfall — an isolated scene of beauty that seems almost carved into the heart of the Swartberg Mountains.
TIP: pack a picnic, there are lovely shaded spots by the entrance

5️⃣ Share milkshakes at Diesel & Creme on the R62
The ingredients are authentic: beating cake slices into ice cream, and mushing it into a compact glass. The diner offers incredible flavors, like Zoo Biscuit and Red Velvet. 
TIP: ask for spoons, it’ll help you devour your 'drink'! 

6️⃣ Get crafty at The Pottery in George
Sit in the garden café and pizzeria, and get your creative juices flowing: design your very own Wonki Ware plates.
TIP: for a vibey evening, go during Fridays' Happy Hour with live music

7️⃣ Walk 2-by-2 at the Knysna’s Elephant Park 
Engage with Knysna's giants in their own environment; meander at elephants' pace, with panoramic views of the Outeniqua mountains and Knysna forest. 
TIP: there are 2 daily walks, but the morning session includes a set breakfast at Indlovu Cafe.

    8️⃣ Horseback safari at Botlierskop Game Reserve in Mossel Bay
    Ride in the mountain valleys and  keep your eyes open for free roaming wildlife! 

    9️⃣ Pairings at Bramon Wine Estate in Plett 
    Get a taste of Plett’s oldest vineyard, and enjoy the cheese and wine tasting, or book a picnic by the dam. 

    🔟 Enjoy a long walk on Robberg Beach in Plett 
    This doesn't have to be the cliche golden-hour walk, but after getting your 10,000 steps, enjoy sundowners at the Beacon Isle Hotel.

    The contemporary offers a full craft beer tasting experience. Enjoyed with good food, it's a wonderful way to taste the Weskus.

    Known as the 'embassy of the San', enjoy one of the guided culture tours, or explore the estate along the 10km MTB course.
