The Waterfront Canal Challenge (WCC) is Africa’s only urban timed canal swim, taking place annually at Cape Town’s iconic V&A Waterfront.
Swimmers can choose from a Half-Mile, 1-Mile, or Elite Mile race, with the thrilling opportunity to compete alongside Olympic Champion Michelle Weber.
This year’s theme, “Turning Tides into Tomorrow,” highlights the power of progress, purpose, and community.
The event brings together swimmers, corporates, and local changemakers for a unique race through the scenic canals — promoting fitness, teamwork, and social impact.
Proceeds support local development and empowerment initiatives championed by the Rotary Club of Waterfront.
Be part of tomorrow and make waves for a brighter future! FREE GOODIE BAG FOR THE FIRST 300 ENTRANTS.
Please Note: No children under 10 will be allowed to enter, and a consent form must be signed for children aged 11–17 years.
