Sanlam Cape Town Marathon

The Sanlam Cape Town Marathon is Africa's first Abbott World Marathon Majors Candidate.

Entering its final year of candidacy in 2026, this global city, fast-paced marathon is suited to a range of running enthusiasts, from elite athletes to social runners.

Successful ballot entrants, and those who have secured an entry through a charity or tour operator, can redeem their entry and complete their registration here.

The weekend extends beyond the road marathon, and we’re proud to offer inclusive events for all, including the 10km and 5km Peace runs, as well as three incredible Table Mountain trail runs – 43km, 22km, and 11km - entries for which can be purchased here.
