This trail run, originally set for 16 May, will now take place on Saturday, 18 July 2026.

Join us at Diemersfontein Wine and Country Estate for the fifth event of the 2026 Run The Vines Series presented by First Ascent. This will be Run The Vines' first visit to Diemersfontein, although we've hosted the Pinotage Run at Diemersfontein in the past.

Diemersfontein is an iconic wine and country estate in Wellington. What started as a family retreat is today the home of the world-class Diemersfontein range of wines and countryside hospitality, backed by a story of upliftment and empowerment.

Run The Vines #5 info

The 3km Manzi Water Paarl Junior Challenge is a trail run for kids under 8 years of age. It is free, and starts at 08h35.

This distance can change depending on the farm. All kids under 12 must be accompanied by a parent. The aim of the 3km is to introduce kids to trail running and a healthy lifestyle, while spending great time with family and friends. This distance is for parents with small kids and not for individual adults. Adults must do the 5km.

Cost per adult accompanying a child on 3km: R120
