On behalf of the Prince Albert Municipal Council, I welcome the Kaleidoscope Festival to our beautiful Karoo town. This initiative embodies what we value about our community – an appreciation for South African culture, a commitment to nurturing young talent and the power of bringing people together through music and celebration.

We’re proud that Kaleidoscope has chosen to root itself in Prince Albert and dedicate itself to supporting ARCO’s work with children and young people in collaboration with the Prince Albert Community Trust (PACT.) The festival’s vision of celebrating rich musical traditions while creating meaningful opportunities for skills development and employment aligns with what we hold dear.

Prince Albert has always been a place where creativity flourishes and heritage is cherished. Kaleidoscope Festival promises to add a vibrant new addition to our town’s cultural story – one that honours our past while building bridges to an inspiring future for our young people.
