Jakhals MTB & Trail Run Challenge – Online Entry Information
Once again, participants can look forward to beautiful and exciting MTB and Trail Running routes around the Jonkersberg mountains near Geelhoutboom during the annual Jakhals MTB & Trail Run Challenge.
The race will start and finish at the well-known Arendsrus Country Lodge, which also serves as our race village and preferred accommodation partner.

Eden Cycling XCM Series Event
The Jakhals MTB & Trail Run Challenge is proud to be Round #1 of the Eden Cycling XCM Series.
To earn points in the Eden Cycling XCM Series, participants must enter the following distances according to their category:
- 26 km – Sub Junior Boys & Girls
- 38 km – Youth Boys & Girls, Grand Master Men & Women
- 52 km – Junior Men & Women, Elite Men & Women, Sub Veteran Men & Women, Veteran Men & Women, Master Men & Women
Please ensure you enter the correct distance for your age category to qualify for series points.
