The minimum age for the 100 miler event is 19 years old, in accordance with the Cycling South Africa MTB rules and regulations.
60 MILER / 102KM
The minimum age for the 60 miler event 19 years old, in accordance with the Cycling South Africa MTB rules and regulations.
Online entries will close at midnight on Tuesday, 28 July 2026, or when the event limit of 500 riders has been reached. Late entries will be available at registration.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Around the Pot is a Cycling South Africa sanctioned event. Riders will need to purchase a R50 day license if they do not have a year license.
- E-bikes are permitted on all distances, there is no separate E-bike category and they will not be eligible for podium prizes.
REGISTRATION:
- Registration will take place on Friday, 31 July 2026 from 13:00 - 20:00 at the Swellendam Show Grounds.
- There will be a late registration option available on Saturday, 1 August between 06:00 - 07:00
- Each rider will receive a goodie bag at Registration
- Please collect and hand in your team support box at Registration
CANCELLATIONS
- 75% of entry fee is refunded if cancellation is done in May;
- 50% of entry fee is refunded if cancellation is done in June
- 0% of entry fee is refunded if cancellation is done in July, you will be allowed to do a late substitution.
- Under no circumstances will an entry be rolled over.
SUBSTITUTIONS
- Substitutions can be done as follows:
- Substitutions and distance changes close on 14 July 2026 and thereafter only at Registration.
- Email [email protected] with existing and substitute participants ID No., name and surname.
- Cyclists who have entered and paid, but cannot participate in the ATP Event, for whatever reason, must inform the Event Management. No cyclist is allowed to participate under the name of another participant. Such action will lead to immediate disqualification.
RACE DAY INFO
- The race briefing will be done at the start line 15min before the race starts, and will be available in the Event Guide.
- All finishers will receive a race medal and a finish line hamburger.
- Routes can be downloaded in GPX format from the Website.
