This report provides an overview of the tourism activity in the Garden Route & Klein Karoo based on mobile location data from a sample size of 155 331 domestic and 2 740 international tourists who visited the Garden Route & Klein Karoo in 2023.
Within the domestic data set, 50 493 tourists were from the City of Cape Town and from the sampled international tourists, 446 were from the USA.
