It aims to improve the Western Cape's competitiveness in the cruise industry and support local tourism in order to stimulate economic growth and job creation. It purposes to do this through bringing in new cruises, removing constraints, solving for flexibility as well as increasing regional spread and thereby the economic footprint of cruise tourism.
