The Western Cape is home to three of South Africa's eight commercial ports, cementing it in global networks through its logistics infrastructure and other developments which are primed for future growth. Not only does the Port of Mossel Bay serve as a key connection point between consumer markets and industrial areas of the Western Cape, it also supports the local fishing sector and is playing an increasingly important role in developing the local tourism industry.
