This report provides an overview of the tourism activity in the Garden Route & Klein Karoo based on mobile location data from a sample size of 46 524 domestic and 893 international tourists who visited the Garden Route & Klein Karoo, between January and June in 2023.

Within the domestic data set, 15 694 tourists were from the City of Cape Town and from the sampled international tourists, 260 were from the USA.
