Dear Friends of the Odeon,
Christmas creep is very real; earlier this past week during a visit to a shopping mall, I was unlucky enough to hear Little Drummer Boy, sung by Boney M. The true horror of Xmas lies not in ghostly visits, as depicted by Dickens, but in the annual, relentless surge of aggressive commercialisation. Step into any shopping mall, and you are immediately trapped in a vortex of consumer anxiety, every surface glittering with mass-produced decor designed to trigger a spending panic. The soundscape completes the sensory assault: Mariah Carey, Wham!, Bobby Helms Boney M, Bing Crosby loop mercilessly, transforming what should be a moment of reflection into a desperate hunt for gifts. Rant over.
On a lighter note, our films for November:

Dear Friends
We opened ticket sales on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m., and an hour later, all tickets had been sold. Thank you for the astonishing support! Obviously, many folk were disappointed, and we have decided to run a second screening of all the shows should there be sufficient demand.
Let us know should you be interested in seeing one or more of our November offerings, indicating which films you'd like to watch.
Touch - Friday, 7 November
Something’s Gotta Give - Friday, 14 November
Lore - Friday, 21 November
See you at the Odeon!
