Paul Rene Bubbly Festival, 9 November

A splash of pink and lots of bubbles - that’s what’s waiting for you at the Paul René “Splash of Pink” bubbly festival. All the bubbly action will be taking place at their beautiful home, the Wonderfontein Wine Estate in Robertson. Lovers of bubbly will be able to enjoy Paul Rene’s authentic handcrafted brut and brut rose along with gin cocktails and cherries from festival partners Clemengold Gin and Cherry Time. Entertainment wise, Arno Carstens will be there to get your feet tapping, and for the little ones there will be horse rides and other fun activities to keep them occupied while mom & dad enjoys some well-deserved adult time. You can also challenge a friend to a game of Boules or Croquet, or simply find a shady spot on the lawn while enjoying the beautiful view of the Langeberg Mountains. The Impi Challenge, 23 November

A playground for adults, the Fedhealth IMPI Challenge is an adrenaline-charged experience, no matter what your level of capability or fitness is.

It’s an opportunity to play like a kid and challenge yourself, while having fun at the same time. The Fedhealth IMPI Challenge is so popular because anyone can participate. The entry categories cater for a variety of athletes, from elite sports persons, competent and beginner runners and families looking for a fun experience.

Participants can enter individually or as part of a team (teams vary in size from 2 – 25 people, (although team members start together, they do not need to finish together).

Knysna Extreme Triathlon, 23 November

The Knysna Extreme Triathlon is a challenging Point-To-Point race that takes place along South Africa’s scenic Garden Route. The course starts with a 4km swim in the Knysna Estuary, followed by a 170km cycle and a 50km run through coastal, mountain, semi-desert and forest scenery. It is a gruelling, yet scenic route that takes triathletes back to the basics of the sport.
